Bad weather lead to a helicopter Tom Cruise has been pictured and filmed travelling in multiple times having to carry out an emergency landing in Richmond Park. A photo of the landing, which is believed to have happened on Monday, was tweeted by Royal Parks Police earlier today (Tuesday, October 29) with the message starting as “You can’t park that there mate”.

It continued: “Officers from Royal Parks Police were made aware of a helicopter that was forced to land due to adverse weather conditions in Richmond Park. The pilot is waiting for a break in the weather before he can leave.”

It is not known if Cruise was in the helicopter at the time. Lots of people took to the comments to make reference to Cruise having been seen in the helicopter previously. One tweeted “he’ll have to take the bike instead” in reference to the Top Gun star’s character Maverick, while another added: “That is Tom Cruise’s helicopter – had he popped to Colicci Roehampton Café?” With a laughing emoji.

The Mission Impossible star has previously been seen in the matte-black chopper getting out at Battersea Heliport, which can be identified by its N9FJ marking at the top. After landing the aircraft – which he can fly himself as he got his licence in 1994 – he was pictured giving fans a thumbs up.

The 62-year-old has been in the UK a lot recently filming the latest wild scenes ahead of the new Mission Impossible film, which will be released in May 2025. He was also seen in Oxford earlier this year having flown there for a day trip. He landed wearing a blue polo and denim styled with white trainers.
