The upcoming Wicked: For Good will be a drastically different movie from the first Wicked film, which could result in less favorable reviews. If this is the case, then Elphaba and Glinda will spend most of Wicked: For Good separated. Wicked’s shocking twist reveals that The Wizard and Madame Morrible are actually the villains of the story, and are responsible for the cruelty towards animals. This twist leads to the separation of Elphaba and Glinda.

At first, it is Glinda’s worst nightmare that she has to share a room with Elphaba, but they eventually end up becoming very good friends.

Wicked: For Good will showcase Glinda working within the system, as she always has, while Elphaba paves her own path and rebels against The Wizard.

They form a deep personal connection with each other in the first Wicked movie, which prompts Elphaba to invite Glinda to Emerald City to meet The Wizard. For the second half of Wicked, it is a pleasure to watch Elphaba and Glinda share the screen, as it is clear how much they care for each other. However, their relationship is tested when the true motivations of The Wizard and Madame Morrible are revealed. Wicked: For Good will showcase Glinda working within the system, as she always has, while Elphaba paves her own path and rebels against The Wizard.
