Fox host Jesse Watters has revealed he is not invited to his mom’s for Thanksgiving this year.
The newscaster said he was told there is ‘not enough room’ to accommodate him at home in Philadelphia.
Watters, 46, made the revelation during a monologue on his Monday show during which he joked the ‘snub’ was due to his mom’s liberal political views.
It came after he played clips from left wing news outlets discussing how it is okay to ‘take space’ from Trump supporting family members over the holidays.
‘People are taking some space in the Watters household,’ Watters said on his show.

Fox host Jesse Watters has revealed he is not invited to his mom’s for Thanksgiving this year
‘I’ll have you know that I wasn’t invited to my mother’s house for Thanksgiving. Apparently, there wasn’t enough room.
‘She said there was as scheduling situation and then at the last second invited me to come over on Black Friday,’ he said. ‘I told her “no thanks, I’ll be at Best Buy”.’
However, a source close to Fox confirmed that the reason Watters will not be attending Thanksgiving was not politically motivated.

Although the reasons are not political, Watter’s mom Anne (pictured with husband Stephen) is staunchly liberal and the two often clash over their views
Watters has previously revealed on-air how he and his staunchly Democrat mom Anne Bailey Watters clash over politics.
During a popular segment called ‘Mom Texts’ Watters reads aloud his mom’s often excoriating criticism.
‘Do not name call and parrot Trump’s insults. That is beneath you,’ one such message read, The Atlantic reports.
However, the blistering feedback is often softened by a mother’s love.

The newscaster said he was told there is ‘not enough room’ to accommodate him at home in Philadelphia
‘One positive! Your tie knot looks better and you are buttoning your top button!’ Another message read.
Watters does not have the best luck with Thanksgiving and last year revealed he was bitten by a dog owned by a Democrat voter.
Watters joked that he could identify the owner’s political leaning because they did not recognize him and drove a Subaru.
In 2018, he told the Philadelphia Inquirer that he managed to ‘clear out’ the table at his liberal family’s Thanksgiving with his praise for Donald Trump.
‘For the eight years under Obama, Thanksgiving and Christmas were tough,’ he said.
‘I had a long stretch there where I had a little bit of a chip on my shoulder, and it was frustrating.
‘But that first Thanksgiving after Trump won, I cleared out the entire Thanksgiving table. It got a little tense.’
