A former San Antonio TV anchor who transitioned to national news is now making a major new leap in her personal life. Ainsley Earhardt and Fox News host Sean Hannity are tying the knot.
“Hannity proposed to Earhardt over Christmas at their home church, solidifying their long-term commitment to each other. The newly engaged couple had the blessing and support from their children,” a Fox News article on the engagement states.
While details of their relationship remain private, including how long they have been dating, Fox News reports the couple “have made their long-distance relationship work with weekend trips between New York, where Earhardt is based, and Florida, where Hannity resides.”
Earhardt joined Fox News in 2007 after her departure from KENS 5. During her time at the San Antonio station she served as the morning and noon anchor alongside broadcast legend Fred Lozano. In 2020, Earhardt told MySA she left KENS 5 after getting a call from Fox News Channel.
“I flew to New York for my interview in September and finalized the deal a few months later,” Earhardt told MySA. “I was heartbroken to leave San Antonio because the community had embraced me, my boss was a really good friend and mentor and I loved my dear friends in Texas. But, I had worked hard to get to the number one market and didn’t feel I could turn it down.”
