Huge congratulations to Susanna Reid, who is pregnant with twins and has already confirmed that they will both be named Piers, after her dear co-presenter Piers Morgan.
Piers Morgan has been busy trolling everyone this morning, announcing on Good Morning Britain that Susanna Reid is pregnant with twins (who are both going to be called Piers, obviously).
It all came about while the pair were discussing rumours that Amal Clooney is pregnant, prompting Susanna to point out that her stomach could be mistaken for a baby bump (although to be honest, we look like we’re expecting octuplets after Christmas).
“Literally, if any woman stands sideways to camera you could speculate that she’s pregnant,” Susanna said. “It’s ridiculous – the idea of focusing on someone’s waist size.”

Piers then moved on to Cheryl and Liam Payne, who are quite clearly having a baby, saying: “The problem is, take Cheryl, who I dearly love. They keep it quiet to generate headlines and then when the baby is actually born they’ll sell it all to magazines.
“I’m afraid celebrities do commercialise their babies.”
He then asked if Susanna was carrying “twins”, before tweeting “Confirmed” next to an article about Susanna having a couple more babies.

“We are absolutely thrilled,” Piers later joked on the show after seeing the article. “She’s got twins, and they’re both called Piers.”

Susanna continued: “If both of us stand to the camera… I’m making the point that not all of us have flat stomachs.”
