The season three finale left viewers eager to know what happens next
Ginny and Georgia fans are already begging for a fourth season, just days after the third installment dropped.
The Netflix hit show returned to screens on Thursday (June 5), and saw Georgia Miller (played by Brianne Howey) on trial for the murder of Tom Fuller (Vincent Legault).
While she managed to escape prison this time, Georgia’s story did not end entirely well. After faking a pregnancy to win over her husband, Mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter), Georgia discovered she may actually be pregnant.
However, it is unclear whether the baby’s father is Paul or local business-owner Joe (Raymond Ablack), who she shared a steamy night with after a heated fight with her husband.

This dramatic plotline was introduced just seconds before the season finale’s credits rolled, leaving viewers eager to know what happens next.
Taking to TikTok to share their frustration about the final episode, one fan posted a clip of its final scenes with the caption: “Diabolical ending.” The six-second video has amassed over 800K views, with others voicing their verdicts in the comment section.
“This is a worse cliff-hanger than Georgia getting arrested,” declared one, with someone else claiming that this season has the “biggest cliff-hanger” of the series thus far.
Netflix fans will recall that season two ended with Georgia being arrested for Tom’s murder, and viewers had to wait two years for the new series.
Now, audiences are fearful there will be another long wait before the next installment. “I ain’t waiting two years for another season. I NEED SEASON 4 LIKE NOW. Thank you very much,” penned one.

Someone else agreed, stating: “Season 4 hurry up.” Meanwhile, someone else voiced out: “They better not take another 3 years to film.”
Netflix renewed the teen drama for a third and fourth season in 2023. However, there is no official season four release date just yet.
Unfortunately for fans, the fourth installment may be the series’ last. Showrunner Debra J. Fisher told The Hollywood Reporter that the show was originally pitched for four seasons, and its ending has already been planned out.
When Sarah [Lampert] and I pitched the show to Netflix, we did pitch four seasons, so we know what we want the end game to be. We know what we want the last episode to be,” Fisher said.
Fans also have their own ‘end game’ in mind, with many rooting for Joe and Georgia to become an item in the forthcoming season.
