Tom Brady recently revealed that he regrets doing his viral 2024 Netflix roast.
After realizing the effect it had on his three children, he characterized the decision as a “major fuck up.”
Brady shares his kids with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, who divorced him in 2022.
Tom Brady is reflecting on the aftermath of his divorce from Gisele Bündchen with a new regret regarding his viral 2024 Netflix roast. The retired NFL star, who split from the Victoria’s Secret model in 2022, admitted yesterday on the “Impaulsive” podcast that his kids were unhappy with their dad’s attention-seeking antics.
Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian asked him, “What was the point of that?” Brady recalled. Apparently the roast was “tough on” the kids, which felt like “a stake through the heart” for Brady.

“There’s some things as a parent you fuck up,” the former quarterback continued. “And you don’t realize until after. Like, ugh.”
The roast included jokes directed at both Brady and his ex-wife, hence his kids’ disapproval. In retrospect, Brady says, the mistake helped him become a better parent. “You don’t see the full picture all of the time,” he said on another podcast. “It’s a good lesson for me.”

Rumors of Brady and Bündchen’s divorce initially surfaced when he un-retired from the NFL in March 2022. By October, both parties had hired divorce lawyers, according to Page Six. The split was finalized by the end of the month. Bündchen later called their breakup a “death and a rebirth.”
“It’s tough because you imagine your life was going to be a certain way, and you did everything you could, you know?” she told Vanity Fair. “I believed in fairy tales when I was a kid. I think it’s beautiful to believe in that. I mean, I’m so grateful I did.”
