It seems Hulk Hogan never met his grandchildren, despite his son-in-law’s attempts.
Steven Oleksy, who is married to Hulk’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, recently claimed that Hulk, who had passed away on July 24, had “no interest” in meeting his twin grandchildren. Olesky stayed in contact with Hulk in case he ever wanted to mend the estranged relationship, and even messaged him a few weeks after he and Brooke welcomed their twins.
“I sent text messages once again to kind of gauge where he was at, but there was no interest,” he said to People.
This isn’t so shocking considering Brooke and Hulk were estranged, but it seems she and Olesky were open to him meeting his grandkids; yet he allegedly never put in the effort.
Brooke has opened up about why she was estranged from Hulk in a lengthy Instagram post. She explained that she stopped speaking to her parents years prior to Hulk’s death (but TMZ did report that she did say “I love you” to him in Sept 2023).
Brooke said she stopped speaking to her mom Linda Hogan and Hulk “was made purely on how they have dealt with me directly my entire life,” adding that “I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood.”
“Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it’s not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes,” she said. Up until adulthood, I’ve received berating and vile text messages, verbal, public reamings with unbelievably hurtful words said to me that cannot be forgotten,” the Hogan Knows Best reality TV show star wrote. “I’ve watched others benefit financially off my suffering and embarrassment caused by their selfish behaviour.”

For those who don’t know, Brooke and Oleksy welcomed two bundles of joy earlier this year. Brooke revealed they welcomed twins on Jan 18, saying on Instagram: “So… just been staying off socials cooking these two cuties. 💙Oliver Andrew Oleksy + Molly Gene Oleksy 🩷Born Jan 15, 2025. Our hearts have been made whole by the arrival of these two sweet souls we get to love. God is good.”
