Netflix has released the full trailer for Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys, which arrives on the streamer August 28.
Right off the bat, Ellie O’Brien’s Grace asks Nikki Rodriguez’s Jackie Howard what it’s like being back in Silver Falls after she abruptly left to return to New York at the end of Season 1.
“Are you still with Alex? Because everybody’s talking about it,” Grace tells Jackie, who responds with, “It’s complicated.”
Grace then reminds viewers that Jackie and Cole kissed last season.
Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) and George Walter (Marc Blucas) watch from the sidelines as Jackie tries to reintegrate into the family, Katherine knowing that Jackie left because of whatever happened with Alex (Ashby Gentry) and Cole (Noah LaLonde).
“I’m sorry that I made it seem like it was gonna be easy to come back here,” Katherine tells Jackie. “But if anybody can do hard things, it’s you. Change is really hard, but things can’t stay the same.”
Alex tells Jackie he needs time, and Grace asks “What’s the tea on Annie Oakley over there?” about a new girl in Alex’s life.
“She’s teaching him dangerous rodeo stuff,” Jackie says, to which Grace responds, “Are we sure that’s all she’s teaching him?”
Meanwhile, Cole has decided to hit the books and still apply to college, to the shock of his family who all pause when he says this at breakfast. He also tries to fish some hay out of Jackie’s hair, but she slaps his hand away after an emotional moment in which she tells him she feels like she’s drifting from her late family.
