Liverpool and Al Hilal are finalising a verbal agreement that will see Darwin Nunez join the Saudi Arabian club, talkSPORT understands.
The Uruguay forward will depart in a £46million plus add-ons deal after three years at Anfield.

talkSPORT also understands Nunez will bank a whopping £400,000-a-week with his soon-to-be new club, a massive rise on his reported £140,000-a-week pay packet at Liverpool.
The player has now agreed the financials and is expected at Liverpool’s AXA training ground in Kirkby on Thursday, where he will say his goodbyes before flying to Germany for his medical.
talkSPORT revealed Al Hilal’s interest in Nunez in June but they waited to formally approach him until after the Club World Cup in a move driven by manager Simone Inzaghi.
Despite reports, Al Ahli have never been in the race for the forward.
Liverpool’s asking price was understood to be €70million [approximately £61m], although it’s not clear if the add-ons in the deal will take the fee to that total.
Nunez was open to joining Al Nassr in January following an approach from them. However, Liverpool blocked the move as they didn’t want him to leave mid-season.
Nunez scored what is set to be his final Liverpool goal during a pre-season friendly victory over Athletic Bilbao on Monday.
talkSPORT reported earlier this summer that Nunez was pushing for a move away from Liverpool amid interest from Napoli.
But the Italian champions failed to meet Liverpool’s valuation of the player, whilst AC Milan registered their interest to Liverpool in Nunez late in the day.
Meanwhile, Aleksandar Mitrovic’s future remains open. The Al Hilal striker is likely to be made available with Nunez set to arrive.

Mitrovic was informed before the Club World Cup another striker was incoming. Hilal are open to loan and permanent offers.
Multiple Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, are monitoring the situation.
Nunez and his likely Liverpool exit
Nunez appeared to hit out at his lack of minutes for Liverpool towards the end of last season.
The Uruguayan took to social media with a post in April, although it was quickly deleted.
“No wonder I didn’t play more, because the last game I started in the Premier League went well and suddenly…” he said.
Nunez has scored 40 goals in 143 competitive appearances for Liverpool.
He netted five of those in the Premier League last season as the Reds became champions.

Liverpool have already sold one of their forwards this summer, with Luis Diaz now at Bayern Munich.
The Colombian has moved to the Bundesliga champions after a £65.5m deal was agreed.
