Cardi Bâs boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, fired back at a lawsuit accusing him of being the father of a 5-month-old baby girl, Us Weekly can report.
On July 17, New England Patriots player responded to a paternity and child support lawsuit filed by a woman named Aileen Lopera in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Lopera gave birth to a daughter named Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera on April 2. Diggs, 31, said he was not certain that he was the father.
The wide receiver requested âgenetic testing to determine whetherâ he was indeed the father. Diggs asked for joint legal and physical custody of the child if the DNA test shows he is the father.
Lopera filed court docs in December 2024 claiming she was pregnant with Diggsâ child. She claimed they had sexual intercourse in California, which led to their baby. She asked that the NFL star be declared the legal father.
Her petition requested sole legal and physical custody of the child. She proposed that Diggs be awarded visitation. The filing also asked the court to order Diggs to pay child support, cover the expenses related to her pregnancy and legal fees.
Loperaâs lawyer, Tamar G. Arminak, tells Us, âMy client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles.â The Sun was the first to report the news.
