‘The Hunting Wives’ Season 1 Begins Charting Release on Netflix Internationally
More can now enjoy the raunchy comedy that’s been locked exclusive to Netflix US up until now.

The Hunting Wives is blowing up in the charts again, and it’s not because of the United States. This week, a slew more regions picked up the show’s first season following its season 2 renewal last month.
According to FlixPatrol, the series is currently the ninth-most-popular show in terms of titles in the daily top 10s as of October 10th, just ahead of Alice in Borderland and behind Wayward in terms of points. The series spent 47 days in the US daily top 10s before dropping out.
In our review, where we gave the series 3 stars, we concluded, “The Hunting Wives deserves a lot of praise for being so utterly uncompromising in its goal. It sets out to be a raunchy, juicy, and binge-worthy drama, and it achieves this with ease. There’s no holding back. It can be funny (you’ll mostly chuckle at its uncompromising outrageousness), while it deals with topics such as alcoholism, manipulation, and self-discovery. It strikes a fine balance between drama, mystery, and comedy — but everything is all wrapped up in its overriding blanket of seductiveness, which is admittedly more than a little gratuitous at times.”

What regions of Netflix are now carrying The Hunting Wives season 1? According to our intel, 32 regions of Netflix picked up the show yesterday, October 9th, with those being:
Bulgaria
Croatia
Czech Republic
Denmark
Egypt
Estonia
Hong-Kong
Hungary
Iceland
Indonesia
Kenya
Latvia
Lithuania
Malaysia
Maldives
Mauritius
Morocco
Nigeria
Norway
Pakistan
Philippines
Romania
Singapore
Serbia
Slovakia
Slovenia
South Africa
South Korea
Sri Lanka
Thailand
Ukraine
Vietnam
That’s a good rollout, but it’s still notably missing many key territories. The United Kingdom is perhaps the biggest, with the series not yet picked up for distribution there. Most of Western Europe and Latin America have yet to see the series touch down. Sadly, we haven’t been able to source dates for those just yet.
Deadline reported that season 2 of the series will roll out on Netflix globally, except in “Canada, Australia, and two European territories,” though they didn’t specify which two. It did not say that Stan and Crave are the distributors in Australia and Canada, and that OSN is carrying it in the Middle East, and HOT is in Israel.
Season 2 is set to begin production on the 17th of November 2025 and continue through at least March 20th, 2026. Based on that production schedule, as we’ve previously covered, we’re expecting a late 2026 return for the series on Netflix.
We reached out to a Lionsgate Television representative, but they have yet to respond to our request for additional details on the global rollout. We’ll update this post if and when they do.
