Agatha Christie’s ‘Seven Dials’ Netflix Series Sets Release Date & First Looks Revealed
The new Agatha Christie adaptat

Murder mysteries as a genre never get old, and so Netflix is committed to bringing more of them to its platform. One of the giants of the genre is without a doubt Agatha Christie, who penned two of the most iconic murder mystery characters: Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, who have been adapted into countless films and TV series. Netflix, though, is adapting The Seven Dials Mystery, which has been previously adapted only once in 1980. It’s debuting on January 15th, 2026.
Officially titled Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials, the Netflix limited series was created and written by Chris Chibnall, whose works include such series as Doctor Who and Broadchurch. Chris Sweeney (The Tourist, Back to Life) directed all episodes for Seven Dials. Suzanne Mackie (The Crown) and Chris Sussman (Good Omens) executive produce. Imaginary Friends Productions and Orchid Pictures are producing.
Mackie commented on producing Seven Dials for Netflix upon its initial announcement:
“I am excited to be bringing The Seven Dials Mystery to life, and to be introducing a new generation of iconic Christie characters to the screen. It has been a joy to work with Chris Chibnall in creating this bold, authored, and ambitious vision for the series. Together with Chris Sussman and Agatha Christie Limited and, under the masterful direction of Chris Sweeney, we are thrilled to embark on this creative journey. I could not think of a more exciting first project for Orchid Pictures, or a more perfect home for this story than Netflix.”
Quick note: Netflix previously referred to the series as The Seven Dials Mystery.
What’s the plot of Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials?
Netflix’s Seven Dials is an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s crime novel The Seven Dials Mystery. It was published back in 1929, so the Netflix adaptation will be just a few years short of being released on its 100-year anniversary.
Here’s the official logline from Netflix:
England. 1925. At a lavish country house party, a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong. It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths — the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent (Bruce) — to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.
On November 4th, Netflix unveiled the official teaser and a bunch of first looks:
