đ„BOMBSHELL: Teen ballerina Emily Finn, 18, stopped by her ex-boyfriendâs house to drop off his things and break up before Thanksgiving break.
The 10-step distance from the front door to the living room became a fateful moment, as she feared âhe wouldnât accept me going to SUNY Oneonta.â
A close friend said Emily had avoided being alone with Austin after school for two weeks before the incident, and security cameras have now revealed the final nine seconds that left police shivering.

A haunting hoard of photos show Long Island teen Emily Finn happily dancing at prom with the ex-boyfriend who allegedly shot and killed her in a botched murder-suicide â as heartbreaking details emerged about the slain ballet dancer.
The ex â Austin Lynch, 18, who faces a second-degree murder charge in the senseless post-breakup slaying Wednesday â poses with a sunny-faced Finn in social media pics from the dance, even hoisting the vivacious ballerina off her feet in one snap.
Other snaps of Lynch plastered online are even more chilling, including one of him posing with a gun while on a trap shooting jaunt with his family.

Lynch allegedly gunned down Finn, 18, inside his Nesconset home Wednesday as she was home from college for Thanksgiving break and returning some of his belongings following their recent split, police have said.
He then shot himself in the face, but survived and likely will face a second-degree murder charge, cops said.
A family friend of Lynch said the teen was heartbroken about his âpuppy loveâ romance with Finn coming to an end.
âPeople are in the comments like, âShe mustâve done something to him,â No, she didnât,â the friend previously told The Post.

Itâs unclear whether Lynch will be charged as an adult, given the killing unfolded one day before his 18th birthday on Thursday.
âUnder NYâs Raise the Age law, the Court will make the decision as to adult versus family court,â said a spokesperson for the Suffolk County District Attorneyâs Office.
Finn, a recent Sayville High School grad, had been a talented ballet dancer who perfected her craft for years at American Ballet Studio in Bayport, her stunned former instructor Kathy Kairns-Scholz recalled.
A natural leader and a beautiful dancer who lit up the studio, Finn had a top role in its âNutcrackerâ production last year, Kairns-Scholz said.
âShe was dedicated and worked 100% all the time,â the instructor said. She knew everything. She picked choreography up very quickly and had a great mind that she could retain everything. A beautiful performer,â
âThere wasnât a person that didnât like her,â she said, adding Finnâs fellow students will adorn the studio with pink ribbons in remembrance Saturday.

A trail of social media photos provides a glimpse into their doomed relationship, including an apparent pre-prom pic showing Finn beaming, bedecked in a magenta dress, alongside a tightlipped Lynch clad in black.
The pair were apparently close enough that they went on a vacation in Aruba together.
Lynchâs parents frequently posted candid photos of him on their social media.

His motherâs Facebook cover photo is a group shot of her family â and Finn â posing on a beach.
âMy boys are my everything,â her profile bio states.
Lynchâs parents frequently posted photos of him on their social media. The pics show him frequently working out with his fitness buff dad, who proudly boasted âFamily time = gym time in the Lynch house!â
âKeep it up kid because I treasure every moment!â the dad posted in 2022, along with a photo of Lynch flashing thumbs up, his once-scrawny frame bulging with new muscles.
Another ominous post shows Lynch posing with a gun while on a birthday skeet shooting outing â nearly three years to the date that he allegedly shot Finn.
âA little trap shooting for the birthday boy!â his dad posted.
Lynch, who had recently enlisted with the Marines, had used a legally owned shotgun in his home to first fatally shoot Finn, before turning it on himself in an unsuccessful suicide attempt, Newsday reported.
His dad called 911 after the gunshots, according to the report.
The alleged killer teen, who is recovering from the gunshot wound to his face, will be arraigned when doctors and a judge deem him medically alert, Suffolk County district attorney officials said.
Finnâs devastated friends flooded their social media feeds with heartfelt tributes.
âThis was such a sudden tragedy and I hope justice will be served for you and your family,â one posted. âNothing will be the same without you.â
