Netflix is adding a new series to its catalog of Turkish dramas, Old Money. The romantic drama revolves around two individuals who fall in love despite coming from different backgrounds.
It explores how a romance sparks between the two in a world obsessed with wealth and power. The show follows Osman, a man from a humble background who rises through the ranks and becomes a part of the elite.

The plot details of Old Money
The show chronicles the love story of Osman and Nihal. Osman has risen from nothing and has become a successful and rich person with his own hard work and skills. Nihal, on the other hand, is the heiress of a powerful family who has lived a lavish life ever since she was born.
As the two meet, sparks fly between them, but they soon realize that being together would not be easy owing to their different upbringing and visions in life. The official synopsis of the show by Netflix reads:

The show stars Engin Akyürek as Osman. He has been seen in several Turkish dramas, including Adım Farah, Sefirin Kızı, Kara Para Aşk, Bir Bulut Olsam, and Yabancı Damat. He has also appeared in the movies Godspeed, A Small September Affair, and Kader.
Aslı Enver stars as Nihal in the series. She has earlier played lead roles in the shows Babil, İstanbullu Gelin, Suskunlar, and Kavak Yelleri. Her movie credits include Sen Yaşamaya Bak, Kardeşim Benim, and Tamam mıyız?
