On day one, he gave away a stack of cash, and he ended the series earlier this week with even more cash and his beloved C4 drag Corvette, revving the engine as he peeled into his driveway in a video showcasing the prize.
“You know what today is, Honey?” he asked, smiling brightly as he got out of the vehicle. “Today is the 12th day of Biffmas, and I know everybody’s been waiting for this.”
He pulled 12 hundred-dollar bills out of his pocket and counted them out before revealing that the car would be part of the prize, too. “It’s got nitrous express on it,” he said excitedly. “And it’s got Hoosier drag radials on it.”
He admitted it “isn’t perfect by any means” and would need a little bit of work, but that it came loaded with a brand new transmission in addition to the other highlights.

Biffle and His Wife and Kids Were Headed to Florida When the Tragedy Occurred
The racing champion, who was one of the few drivers to ever earn titles in more than one national division, and his family were on their way to visit their friend and fellow NASCAR star Garrett Mitchell in Florida when the Cessna 550 they were travelling in crashed on Dec. 18. It’s unclear what led them to land in North Carolina, nor what went wrong with the landing, but Mitchell confirmed they were on board in a social media post that came not long after the plane was linked to a company connected to Biffle.
“Unfortunately, I can confirm Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, daughter Emma, and son Ryder were on that plane,” he announced. “Because they were on their way to spend the afternoon with us. We are devastated. I’m so sorry to share this.”
The Cause of the Crash Remains Under Investigation
Investigators have not officially released the identities of those on board the aircraft, so it’s unclear if Biffle had additional friends or family members on board or if the other two victims were pilots or other crew members. According to reporting from local news station WBTV, Biffle was issued a private pilot license earlier this year, and shared he was “excited to get back flying again” on social media in September.
It’s unknown if he was flying the plane at the time of the incident, but the flight appears to have originated at the same airport where it crashed. According to flight data reviewed by the outlet, the plane never rose higher than 1,000 feet above the ground after it took off at 10:06 a.m. local time. It attempted to return to the airport for an unknown reason, crashing less than 10 minutes later.
The investigation is ongoing.
