Authorities have locked down beaches across Northern Sydney after three people, including two children, were mauled by sharks in just 26 hours.
New footage shows the latest attack at North Steyne Beach in Manly which left a man in his 20s fighting for his life on Monday.
The victim was bitten on his calf at around 6.20pm and remains in critical condition at Royal North Shore Hospital.
The horror unfolded just hours after an 11-year-old boy was thrown off his surfboard at Dee Why Point.
A large shark lunged at the board in a frenzied attack, chomping down multiple times.
The boy was rescued by his father and a by-stander who heard his screams for help.
At the time of the attack, the beach was closed due to dangerous swell, with shark nets out as protocol.
Northern Beaches Council lifeguards have since erected shark warning signs and dispatched a jet ski to patrol the water.
The two attacks come a day after a 12-year-old boy was left fighting for his life after both of his legs were mauled by a shark on Sunday.
The attack happened at about 4.30pm at Nielsen Park in Vaucluse – a beach which has both a netted swimming area and open water.
Police said they responded with “multiple resources”, including intensive care paramedics and aeromedical teams on a helicopter.
Up to five other children were reportedly with the boy at the time of the assault.
They tried to drag him back onto the rock platform before emergency services arrived at the scene.
Paramedics tied tourniquets around the boys legs and performed CPR as they transported him by boat to Rose Bay for urgent treatment.
Local cops said that he had sustained “serious leg injuries” and was given first aid again after arriving in hospital.

“[His] injuries are consistent with what is believed to have been a large shark,” New South Wales police said.
An ambulance spokesperson said: “The patient, a teenage boy, with critical injuries to both of his legs, was transported to Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, in a critical condition.”
It is understood the boy was jumping off rocks at one end of the beach when the shark appeared.
Authorities have warned that sharks have been tempted to the shore by murky waters, caused by recent heavy rainfall.
NSW Police said in a statement: “All beaches on the Northern Beaches are closed until further notice, and this will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.”
Agriculture Minister Tara Moriarty said authorities are trying to identify the species of shark which carried out the bloody attacks.
They are thought to be bull sharks, a species known to be aggressive and live in shallow costal waters.
But, there have been no further sightings since the attacks.
