Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie‘s mom, Nancy Guthrie, 84, remains missing more than a week after the abduction from the Tucson, Ariz., home—and police reportedly pulled out a “sliver briefcase” while searching for clues.

On Saturday, Feb. 7, law enforcement spent several hours at Nancy’s home until roughly 10:30 p.m. local time, the Daily Mail reported.

At one point, while continuing to gather evidence from the scene, an agent carried a “silver briefcase” inside. It’s unclear what officers were photographing or seizing from Nancy’s home.

Over the past few days, several new details and potential leads have emerged in Nancy’s case, including video of a vehicle of interest that was submitted to law enforcement. Law enforcement also made a strategic move across several states as the search neared a week.

On Feb. 1, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) launched a search for Nancy, who was last seen on the evening of Saturday, Jan. 31, at her home. The PCSD declared her Tucson residence a crime scene and determined that she had been “taken” from her residence “against her will.” Additionally, law enforcement confirmed that the blood discovered at Nancy’s home belonged to the 84-year-old.

Since then, investigators have returned to Savannah’s mom’s home several times, including with K9 units. Nancy has still not been found after looking into multiple ransom notes and issuing video messages to the captors through Savannah.
