The suspect has been arrested, and the motive is unclear.

The singer was home at the time and is doing “okay.”

Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home was fired upon by an assault rifle on Sunday, March 8, and the singer was reportedly home at the time. The terrifying incident happened at 1:21 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Times, which reported that one round of shots penetrated the wall of Rihanna’s mansion as well as an RV parked in her driveway.

A 30-year-old woman was taken into custody after—according to the police—firing multiple rounds while inside her vehicle. Fortunately, no one was injured in the attack.

Per an LAPD spokesperson, “When they pulled the suspect over and took her into custody, they searched the vehicle and located an assault rifle and seven casings.” Rihanna shares the home with A$AP Rocky and their children. While she was confirmed to be home at the time, it’s unclear if Rocky and the kids were also there. A source tells People that the singer is doing “okay” in the aftermath of the shooting.
