If you’ve already raced through all eight episodes of Off Campus, you’re probably wondering the same thing as everyone else: What happens next?

The teen hockey romance, based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling book series, became one of the year’s biggest new shows after landing on Prime Video in May.

Fortunately, it’s already been renewed for a second season — meaning that big cliff-hanger from the finale is set to be resolved. Here’s everything you need to know about the show’s future.

When will ‘Off Campus’ Season 2 be released?

Prime Video renewed Off Campus for a second season in February 2026 — three months before the show’s May premiere. At the time, Amazon MGM Studios executive Peter Friedlander said he was confident the series “had the depth and momentum to continue beyond its first season.”

A release date hasn’t been announced, but we’ll update this article once we know more.

Who will Season 2 focus on?

The first season focused on the relationship between Briar University hockey captain Garrett Graham and music student Hannah Wells, played by Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright, respectively.

The next chapter, however, will shift its focus to fan favorites Dean Di Laurentis and Allie Hayes, played by Stephen Kalyn and Mika Abdalla. The pair’s slow-burning romance became one of Season 1’s biggest talking points, with fans especially embracing their flirtatious dynamic during a scene in which Allie dresses as Jennifer Lopez.

“I know so much more about Allie and these books than ever before,” Abdalla told the Hollywood Reporter about her return to the character. “It’s definitely going to be a lot less stressful this time around.”

Series creator Louisa Levy said, “We are so excited to continue Allie and Dean’s story as our primary romance of Season 2 after kick-starting their romance in Season 1.” She added that Hannah and Garrett would remain an “integral part” of the show, saying, “We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of everyone’s story.”

Which book will it be based on?

Each of Kennedy’s Off Campus novels center on a different couple within the same friend group — much like Bridgerton.

The first season was based on The Deal, the series’ opening book. However, Season 2 will adapt The Score, the third novel in the series, rather than the second, titled The Mistake.

Who is joining the cast?

New characters will join the Off Campus universe in Season 2. India Fowler has been cast as Grace Ivers, the love interest of Antonio Cipriano’s John Logan, while Philipa Soo will play theater artist Scarlett.

Other new additions will include Khobe Clarke as Beau Maxwell, Charlie Evans as Hunter Davenport and Julia Sarah Stone as Logan’s sibling Jules.

Most of the core cast — Bright, Cameli, Abdalla, Kalyn, Cipriano and Jalen Thomas Brooks — will return for Season 2. But Josh Heuston, who starred as Justin Kohl, will not be returning. Levy told TV Guide, “I love Josh and I would not write him off if I can find a way to bring Justin back at some point.”

Speaking about a possible return, Heuston told Variety Australia: “We’ll see. Everything from scheduling to storylines to books… there’s a lot of stories to show in this particular series.”

Could there be more seasons?

Kennedy has written five Off Campus novels to date, as well as several spin-off books, giving the streamer plenty of material to work with for years to come.

“The first four books, absolutely, I have plans for,” Levy told The Wrap. “Beyond that, we’ll see what Amazon pays us to do.”
