Unlocking the secrets: House Of The Dragon set photos hint at rediscovering a Game Of Thrones iconic location. What’s the connection?

Fans of Game of Thrones will likely know House of the Dragon season 2 as traveling to one of the coldest locations in Westeros.

Amidst the current strikes by WGA and SAG-AFTRA, House of the Dragon is still filming. Set photographs from the upcoming season reveal one of the most iconic set pieces from Game of Thrones.

Because the majority of the actors on House of the Dragon are British, the program is still in production. They are not allowed to strike in solidarity since they belong to a different union called Equity. Season 2 will witness the start of The Dance of the Dragons, the civil conflict hinted to at the close of Season 1.

Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) and her adversary Alicent (Olivia Cooke), who are Blacks versus Greens, will battle for their respective claims to the throne. Readers of the historical tome are aware of the extent of the Targaryen family tree’s bloodshed. Some admirers of the past may get nostalgic when they see new images that appear to show a familiar area.

New House of the Dragon photos that were shared on Twitter by @jonaryastark appear to depict The Wall of the erstwhile Night’s Watch organization. The image, which was captured from above, depicts a lengthy structure that resembles a glacier. The poster used The Wall from Game of Thrones as a point of comparison for the first image. It is reasonable to anticipate that some Targaryens could leave their home in Dragonstone in search of a colder environment.

The Wall in Game of Thrones was a genuine place. Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, traveled there to retrieve the Black and, by a series of bizarre coincidences, rose to the position of Lord Commander before being killed and resurrected. The Wall, the initial site of the fight against the dead, is where Jon discovered his feeling of obligation. Perhaps The Wall will become more common than people think, given the Song of Ice and Fire’s warning in House of the Dragon season 1.

Rhaenyra was chosen to be King Viserys’ (Paddy Considine’s) successor because he had complete faith that she would carry out his intentions while in power. Viserys had a dream concerning The Song of Ice and Fire that he took to be a prophesy, despite not being a Dreamer in the same sense as several Targaryens before him. In the hopes that she might unify The Seven Kingdoms against the impending winter, he shared this dream with Rhaenyra.

Considering this, viewers may witness more implications of this prophesy in season two of House of the Dragon. Rhaenyra had alluded to the prophesy, so fans were taken aback when they saw Daemon (Matt Smith) snap at her. It’s possible that this was more than simply an isolated incident and that it will have far-reaching effects in the future. It will be heartbreaking to see Jon’s former haunts again, even though it is hard to find this intriguing in light of everyone’s disappointment with The Long Night in the Game of Thrones finale.
