Starting his acting career by starring in the successful franchise, Harry Potter, became one of the highlights Daniel Radcliffe boasted about in a mockumentary-style interview. Known for embodying the titular hero in the beloved series franchise, Radcliffe has proven his acting prowess well beyond the wizarding world, evolving into an exceptional actor.

However, the actor is not exactly a stunt performer. But Radcliffe didn’t seem too unfazed by his lack of physical prowess, as he humorously defended his status as one of the most popular British actors.

Along with his iconic role as Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe has also enjoyed a successful career in Hollywood. However, even with his impressive resume, the actor had a hilariously humble reaction when he discovered there were still things beyond his expertise.

In a 2013 mockumentary with the YouTube channel Bad Teeth, the actor explained how to be Daniel Radcliffe. The brief mockumentary featured different segments for the same, including fans’ appreciation, staying grounded, and managing anger.

To keep up with the latter two, The Lost City star introduced Jake, whom he had hired to not let fame get to his head. And the unfolding narrative revealed Jake’s role in keeping the actor grounded.

As Jake started showing off his complex physical moves, Radcliffe started boasting about his stature as an actor with mock arrogance. He said,

I’ve appeared naked on a Broadway stage, I have kissed Emma Watson, I’m the most famous person you’ve ever been near.

The whole thing leads to the next segment focused on releasing anger. And Radcliffe’s frustration was palpable when Jake pointed out that despite all his achievements, the actor still couldn’t perform a split or a headstand.

As Jake further continued to showcase his flexibility with a split and headstand, Daniel Radcliffe started assuring both Jake and himself that he was not bothered that he couldn’t do those stunts in a playful rant.

I was 11 years old when I starred in the most phenomenally successful franchise of all time. I have some of the greatest British actors on my speed dial. I have Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Danny Dyer.

Jake, however, humbly responded to his rant, asking him if he could perform a handstand. The interaction seemed to serve its purpose, as Radcliffe ended up quite humbled and polite. He then prepared to move on with his day, saying,

And now I’m ready to go. All I have to do now is learn my lines, go through several elaborate costume fittings, go through makeup and hair, speak to producers a couple of times, then speak to my agents several times, and we’ll be ready.

This was not the only time when the actor humorously reflected on his Harry Potter fame while engaging in light-hearted discussions.

Despite these humorous moments, he has also shared how worldwide recognition and fame have led to periods of insecurity. However, Radcliffe has since found true happiness and fulfillment through his work as an actor.
