The TV personality expanded his family with girlfriend Aubrey Page by adopting a puppy named Olio!

While promoting season 7 of the ABC show on Live With Kelly and Mark on February 12, the longtime host announced he and girlfriend Aubrey Paige welcomed a new puppy into his household. Showing a photo of a yellow labrador named Olio alongside his other dog Georgia, Ryan told his former co-star Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos how Olio is the latest addition to his family unit. What’s more, he couldn’t help but joke how the pet’s moniker comes from a common item he keeps in his kitchen.
“We have a new puppy named Olio,” he shared on daytime TV. “Yes, he speaks Italian, yes, he loves marinara. And he’s named after olive oil.”
Given how Ryan previously shared how he adopted Georgia a decade earlier in May 2014, Kelly went on to inquire how she handled the transition of another dog in the house. While the incoming Wheel of Fortune host acknowledged Georgia wasn’t too thrilled by Olio at first, the two now have a bond with one another.
“Georgia rolled her eyes for a couple of months,” he added. “Now they’re close.”
While the news of Olio joining Ryan’s family may seem like a surprise, he actually introduced him to his Instagram followers on February 1. Uploading sweet snapshots of Olio being hugged by the TV personality’s nieces, folks could see how thrilled he was to have another pet in the house.
“Your regular reminder of how much I love EVOO,” he captioned the post. “Introducing our newest family member – Olio!”

Unsurprisingly, fans were ecstatic to see Ryan disclose heartfelt personal news for them to see online. “Congratulations! 2 dogs are better than one no matter what the breed! 🐶💕,” one person wrote in the comments. “Awwww Ryan I’m so happy to see you’ve adopted another doggie ❤️❤️,” another exclaimed. “Awh! Georgia has a new buddy!” a different user added.
