Asher Havon, the winner of season 25 of The Voice, updated his fans about his mother’s battle with cancer in an emotional statement.

On his Instagram page are many posts of his success as we can see him living his dream in real-time. This flow was interrupted, however, by a sincere post regarding his mother’s health.

The post is of him resting himself on his mom’s lap as she smiles at the camera. They seem to be home together.

The Voice winner writes, “A Story of Faith and Triumph: My Mom is Cancer-Free!” You can feel the joy leaping from the page.

HaVon continues, “Today, my heart is overflowing with joy and gratitude because my mom is finally home—cancer-free! This journey has been anything but easy, but through every challenge, she held onto her faith and never let go of God’s hand.”

His mother wanted to share, “If I can make it, so can you. When you stay close to God, there is nothing you can’t overcome.” It’s clear her faith helped her through this extremely trying time.

Another Cancer-Free Story To Warm The Heart

HaVon goes on in the post to compliment his mother’s bravery. He writes, “Her strength and resilience have been an inspiration not only to me but to everyone around her. She’s living proof that miracles happen and that with faith, love, and determination, we can conquer even the hardest battles.”

He ends the caption by writing, “Welcome home, Mom. You are a true warrior, and your story will continue to inspire others to believe and never give up. ??”

Such compassionate words from a man who’s clearly overjoyed.

I hope his mother continues to receive the love and support she’s had in abundance so far, and that she’ll be fully recovered before long.

Professionally, HaVon has recently released his second single, “Thank You,” a song dedicated to his Voice coach Reba McEntire. Reba herself heard the song, and displayed her immense gratitude toward her former team member.

It seems like HaVon has had his fair share of positive news.
