Nothing seemed amiss between Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani during their recent vacation in Italy, where they packed on the PDA despite recent rumors suggesting marital problems.
The couple have been living their best life in Italy where they’ve been celebrating Gwen’s 48th birthday. Their Italian adventure has seen them travel from the historic streets of Rome to the enchanting canals of Venice. During a romantic gondola ride in Venice, as captured in photos by The U.S. Sun, the couple exuded love and happiness.
How Blake And Gwen Celebrated Her Birthday In Italy
Gwen, always the fashion icon, sported a chic tropical-patterned off-the-shoulder dress paired with stylish sunglasses, perfectly suited for the scenic cruise. Blake embraced the relaxed vibe with a straw hat and an open button-down shirt, epitomizing casual cool.
While gliding through Venice’s canals, the couple indulged in some drinks on the gondola, sharing a passionate kiss that was captured by onlooking photographers. They were also seen gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes from their cozy spot at the back of the ornately decorated boat.
Accompanying them on this picturesque ride were Gwen’s three children, whom she shares with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. The eldest two were seated at the bow, taking in the sights, while the youngest sat comfortably on Gwen’s lap.
While Gwen and Blake looked more in-love than ever during their Italian vacation, they’ve been dodging rumors about the state of their relationship, with some reports suggesting a break-up is on the horizon (though their PDA-heavy vacation seems to suggest otherwise).
Gwen Previously Denied Marriage Problems
For several months, the couple has been dogged by rumors of a potential split. Alleged insiders have suggested that the pair were growing apart. These rumors gained traction when the couple spent the New Year apart, citing professional commitments as the reason for their time apart.
In April, Gwen reacted to the speculation only to shut it down. “I had been going through those times where you’re questioning: ‘Oh my gosh, am I just getting older? Am I cute?'” she said to NYLON.
“In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what might happen,” she said. “I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and getting paranoid.”
She reaffirmed her love for Blake, adding, “The truth is I am in love with my best friend, and all this s–t I’m thinking of in my brain, that’s all it is—I’m overthinking.”
Gwen and Blake tied the knot in 2021, following a romantic connection that began during their time as co-judges on The Voice. Prior to her marriage to Blake, Gwen was wed to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale. Their marriage, which lasted from 2002 to 2016, produced three sons. On the other hand, Blake was previously married to country music star Miranda Lambert, with their marriage spanning from 2011 to 2015.
