Entering Monday night’s game against the Cowboys, the Bengals will have a new kicker as Cade York was signed this week to fill in for the injured Evan McPherson. This will only be York’s second game of the season, including first with Cincinnati, but the game will be special for more than just that.

York will get to play in front of his girlfriend, who doesn’t usually get to watch him as she works as a Cowboys cheerleader on Sundays. The kicker spent the first two years of his career playing in Cleveland for the Browns.

Who is Cade York’s girlfriend?

York is dating Zoe Dale, who has also been a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader since the 2023 season.

Dale recently posted a bunch of pictures from Thanksgiving of York down in Dallas over the holiday weekend

The new Bengals kicker explained how excited he is to be able to play in front of her on Monday night.

“My girlfriend is actually a cheerleader for the Cowboys,” York said, via Joe Danneman. “I get a call that I’m going to work out for the Bengals, and they’re playing on Monday. I was like, ‘Well, Zoe, I will see you at home no matter what.’ So, yeah, it’s pretty cool.”

While Dale’s job is to cheer for the Cowboys, York joked that she will actually cheer for him instead.

“She’s gonna be cheering for me,” York said, while laughing. “But yes, we’ll both be there. She’s already told me second quarter and fourth quarter is when she’s on the visitor’s side. So I’ll have to sneak her a couple smiles.”

In 2022, York kicked for the Browns during his rookie season, making 24 of 32 field goal attempts and 35 of 37 extra points. After bouncing around practice squads last year, York began the year as the Commanders’ kicker, missing two field goal attempts in Week 1 before getting released.
