Prince Kate ‘eyes up’ major royal appearance next month
Kate Middleton and Tom Cruise, who previously delighted fans with their appearance at 2022 Wimbledon, could reunite next month.
Superstar Cruise and much-loved royal figure Kate could once again turn heads with their another reunion at 2024 Wimbledon.
The Princess of Wales is reportedly eyeing up major royal appearance after Prince William-Taylor Swift’s venture at Wembley Stadium in London.
Catherine joined the royal family for Trooping the Colour ceremony on June 15 in her first official appearance since revealing cancer diagnosis earlier this year.
Royal commentator Emily Andrews wrote in Grazia: “Her treatment is ongoing, and will be for the next few months, but I understand she would like to visit the Wimbledon tennis tournament – she is a patron – if she feels up to it.”
Kate and Tom previously stole the spotlight as they attended women’s Wimbledon final at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in 2022.
Princess Kate, who’s huge tennis fan, could not contain her emotions and excitement as she enjoyed the match between Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur and Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, where she was seated a few rows in front of the Mission Impossible star.
The British royal put her elegance on display in a vibrant yellow dress which she first worn during her tour of the Caribbean in the same year. While, Tom looked dapper in a blue suit and white dress shirt, attire he paired with a light blue tie.
Tom and Kate left royal fans in awe as the actor held hand of the Princess on red carpet at the Top Gun premiere, apparently making ‘William jealous!’
The Wimbledon main draw will take place on Friday 28 June, one day after the end of qualifying. It will be conducted at SW19. The Championships will conclude on the weekend of July 13 and 14, with the women’s singles final on the Saturday and the men’s singles final following on the Sunday.
Kate regularly attends Wimbledon and is known for awarding trophies at the tennis tournament. Although she has kept out of the public eye amid her cancer treatment, the organizers are said to be hopeful that the future Queen will be able to continue the tradition at the event this year.
