BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Baton Rouge native is currently competing in Season 26 of “The Voice,” a singing competition show.

Cozy Len Gage Jr., a singer from Baton Rouge, sang Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love to You” in his blind audition. “The Voice” coaches Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire turned their chairs around during Gage’s performance. He secured a spot on Team Gwen Stefani.

Gage has over 25 years of experience in songwriting, producing and live music performances. According to his website, “He displays a unique, attracting sound with a wide range of talent and versatility in multiple genres such as R&B, soul, Christian worship and pop.”

He is also the lead musician of his band, The Cozy Len Xperience, according to his website.

“The Voice” airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on NBC.
