The singer shared pictures of the couple’s big day to Instagram to celebrate their anniversary.
“July 3, 2021, it has always been you,” Gwen shared.
Fans in the comments of the post think that the caption might be throwing shade at Gwen’s ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, 58, who she was with for 20 years.
“Always?? What about 16 years with the other dude?” one naysayer wrote under the pictures.
“Yeah the caption is faulty,” another replied.
“It shows so much insecurity, her need to somehow put her ex husband down in little, petty ways. It doesn’t give me a (truly) happy vibe,” a third slammed.
Despite the critics, hundreds shared their well wishes for the couple in the comments – including The Voice host Carson Daly, who officiated their wedding ceremony.
“Thank you Gwen for lowering your standards to marry my pal, Blake. You are a saint,” he joked in his comment before adding a sincere message.
“So honored to have married you guys in OK too. Love you.”

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani began dating in 2015 after meeting on the set of the NBC reality show The Voice.
Both were fresh out of lengthy failed marriages.
After a five-year relationship, the celebrity couple got engaged in 2020.
The Hollaback Girl singer announced their engagement on social media as she flashed her blinged-out hand while sharing a kiss with Blake.
Blake also shared the same picture on his Instagram, writing, “Hey Gwen, thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!”
Less than a year later, on July 3, 2021, the couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Blake’s Oklahoma ranch.
The two seem to have now found their forever loves, after leaving a trail of drama from past relationships behind them.
Gwen and Gavin filed for divorce in 2015 after 13 years of marriage.
The split came after speculation that Gavin had been unfaithful in the marriage.
The pair welcomed three sons during their relationship: Apollo, Zuma, and Kingston.
Gavin is currently dating Xhoana Xheneti – who fans think looks like Gwen following recent pictures of the couple on vacation.
Blake and Gwen were also on vacation last month and were seen on a PDA-filled date on a romantic gondola ride in Italy.
