After premiering on NBC in 2011, The Voice wrapped up its 25th season in May 2024. Asher HaVon took home the crown, giving coach Reba McEntire her first-ever victory. In just one week (Sunday, Sept. 23), Reba will return to defend her title. This season, the “Fancy” singer faces an entirely different coaching lineup in fellow veteran Gwen Stefani and newcomers Michael Buble and Snoop Dogg. And when the four stars finally shared a stage for the first time, Stefani could hardly contain herself.

‘The Voice’ Newcomer Promises “Best Season Ever”

In a Sept. 5 Instagram post, The Voice gave viewers their first look at season 26’s big red chair occupants. The singing reality competition show shared footage of returning coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani meeting newcomers Michael Buble and Snoop Dogg for the first time.

“I’m really excited to meet Snoop,” Reba shared. “We’re gonna have so much fun.”

The four-time CMA Vocalist of the Year is the lone returner from season 25, coming back for her third season of The Voice. Stefani joins Reba for her seventh coaching stint after sitting out season 25.

“It’s actually… I’m fanning out,” the former No Doubt frontwoman said of meeting her new colleagues. “I’m fanning out. Don’t tell them.”

Buble had a bold prediction for viewers. “I am surrounded by a beautiful crew, three amazing coaches, and I think you guys are gonna think is the best season ever,” said the GRAMMY-winning crooner.

Snoop Dogg Is “Listening, Learning, Giving and Taking”

While the mood on set appeared light and playful, make no mistake—Snoop came to play on The Voice.

The “Gin and Juice” rapper said he is trying his best to “be a sponge” and absorb all the information he can. As a longtime fan of The Voice, “Now I got to try to decipher between, what am I bringing to the table and what am I learning?” said Snoop, 52. “So, listening, learning, giving and taking.”

Snoop has already dubbed himself and his fellow coaches “the fearless foursome.”

“And I mean to say that,” he said last month during an interview with NBC. “Like, we have so much fun when we on that show, and the talent on there’s extraordinary.”
