On 29 July, Zuma Rossdale – Gwen Stefani’s 15-year-old son with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, made his country debut at Blake Shelton’s bar, Ole Red, in Oklahoma.
Shelton and Stefani got married in 2021. Shelton has since spoken about becoming a stepfather to her children—more on that later—and it’s clear that in the footage below, he’s more than supportive of their dreams.
In a video posted to TikTok, Shelton finishes performing and then introduces Zuma, who takes to the stage looking the part, wearing a black cowboy hat, a striped shirt, and jeans.
According to Jamie McGaugh, a punter who filmed Zuma’s performance and posted it to X (formerly known as Twitter) and YouTube, the teen performed two Zach Bryan covers: Oklahoma Smokeshow and Revival (per Today).
In other videos, Shelton referred to Zuma as his and Stefani’s “middle son” and proudly told the audience how he “has been working on music all this time as well.” Shelton then quipped on Zuma’s song choices, “He’s decided that he’s a country guy.”

In a 2022 interview with People, Shelton said being a stepfather changed his life.
“They’ve taught me something about myself that I never knew: I’m more than just a country singer or a goofy guy,” he explained. “I’m someone they actually lean on, and that’s not a responsibility that I ever had and not something that I ever considered even being into.”
Shelton continued, “It’s a different kind of self-worth. Maybe it’s the opposite of self-worth because you put yourself way down on the rung, and they move up ahead of you.”
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton started dating in 2015 after meeting as coaches on The Voice US. They went public with their relationship in November 2015 before getting engaged in October 2020 with a ring hidden in his pick-up truck. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony over the 4th of July weekend in 2021 at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch.
Gwen Stefani has three children with Gavin Rossdale: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.
Since getting married, the pair have shared country songs, including Nobody But You and Happy Anywhere.
