When singer Asher HaVon performed at the Selma Amphitheatre on June 22, he vowed to quickly return.

The winner of The Voice Season 25 will have a concert on August 9 at the Selma High School Auditorium. The concert starts at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets are $45 and available at Eventbrite.com,

“Let’s run this show back,” HaVon said. “Selma made me who I am.  On June 22, I felt the immense power of my hometown, Selma, Alabama, coursing through my veins. It was a humbling reminder of the indomitable spirit and unwavering love that binds us all together.”

Lydia Chatmon, TRHT Selma director with Black Belt Community Foundation, said she’s looking forward to HaVon’s return.

“Asher is an amazing testament to the greatness that Selma can groom and inspire,” Chatmon said. “I am delighted to be a part of the effort to help make his goal of an ENCORE performance happen. August 9 will be an absolutely enchanted evening for our community. I am truly excited.”

Since winning the hit NBC show in May, HaVon has been busy performing across the country, in Montgomery on the Fourth of July and at a rally for U.S. President Joe Biden.
