The Voice season 25 winner Asher HaVon has recently released a new song, titled “Thank You.” He dedicated it to his coach, Reba McEntire, and she has since shared her heartwarming reaction to the dedication.
Speaking with Extra TV during the recent episode of The Voice, McEntire was asked about her reaction to the new song. When specifically asked how it made her feel, she replied with a beaming smile, “Well, one of the greatest things in the world that you can do … is to be grateful and thankful … and so for Asher to record that song, write it and record it, I sat there crying.” She added, “What a great tribute. He’s such a special person, inside and out, [and] big-hearted.”
She continued, “And for him to do what he did on The Voice last season, was unbelievable. He’s beautiful inside and out and I’m so proud of him, and that song meant the world to me.”

The Voice Winner Asher HaVon Releases New Single “Thank You” Dedicated to Reba McEntire
Asher HaVon posted a snippet of the new song on social media, pairing the song with images of himself and Reba McEntire from the season finale of The Voice. It included photos of him accepting the coveted winner’s title, and the moment he learned he had won The Voice with Reba by his side.
It’s Asher, one of your sons,” he wrote in the caption of the video, addressing McEntire. “I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart! I know I’ve expressed my gratitude on the show, but I feel the need to share it with the world.”
He continued, “You saw me in my darkest moments, tossing and turning in a nightmare, and you woke me up. You reminded me of the incredible gift that God has given me and encouraged me to ‘STAY WOKE.’ Working with you week after week opened my eyes to a world I had never imagined.”
Reba McEntire and Asher HaVon seemed to bond instantly on The Voice, sharing a love of music and similar values. HaVon’s dedication proves that McEntire inspired him beyond just making music, encouraging him to live his life unapologetically as well.
HaVon concluded his message with, “Your lessons will live on inside me forever! As a token of my appreciation, I dedicate this song to you. You are truly my angel on earth, and I love you so much!”
