The Voice coach will.i.am struggles with a chronic health condition ‘all day every day’. The Black Eyed Peas star, 49, revealed he had suffered for long time with tinnitus.

Tinnitus is the name for hearing noises that do not come from an outside source, according to the NHS. And will.i.am admitted the condition will ultimately lead to irreversible hearing loss, with his symptoms ‘gradually getting worse’.

He opened up about the constant ‘beep’ in his ears, telling The Sun previously: “I can’t be quiet, as that’s when I notice the ringing in my ears. There’s always a beep there every day, all day. I don’t know exactly how long I’ve had this, but it’s gradually getting worse.”

In another interview, the ITV star revealed he was suffering ‘proper loss’ in his hearing, as shown by tests over the years. He said: ‘I’m 43. When I went to the doctor and got an ear test, they said, “Your ears are that of someone a lot older.” In 2007, 2013 and this year, I got all my frequency tests and the curve … it’s proper loss.”

It is not the only condition the star has spoken about. He previously told the Daily Mail that he doesn’t see his ADHD as a flaw.

He said: “I’ve suffered from ADHD for years. But I’ve learned how to control it. I can talk, look at that person, think about what I have to do now and what am I going to eat later.”

The NHS says Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition that affects people’s behaviour. People with ADHD can seem restless, may have trouble concentrating and may act on impulse.
