Snoop Dogg gets surprise from legendary musician

Snoop Dogg is a big name in the music industry, but the California rapper was surprised to learn that a legendary musician was a fan of his work.

He was Paul McCartney.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he recalled meeting the Beatles member, saying, “He wanted to meet me. That was crazy! I was like, ‘I want to meet Paul McCartney. They was like, ‘Sir Paul would like to meet you.’ I’m like, ‘For real?’ Bring him over here!”

During the meeting, the Sweat rapper said they both lauded each other’s work.

“It was about just respect and love, and he really knew who I was musically. That blew my mind,” he remembered.

“Like, I’m telling him about all the records I like from him, but then he telling me about who I am and how he liked me. It’s just appreciation. I call that mutual love, fan appreciation.”

However, in the end, Snoop said the conversation was cut because “Woody Harrelson came and just bogarted the whole situation, and then Paul was like, ‘I’ll catch up with you later.’ I’m like, ‘Damn, Woody. I was over here having a conversation.”
