Having famous parents might bring plenty of perks in life, but some celebrities’ children are casting aside their well-known surnames to keep a little anonymity.

Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri has apparently become the latest celebrity child to drop her last name, with reports that her recent high school graduation listed her name as Suri Noelle.

Suri attended her end-of-school ceremony on Friday with her mum, whose middle name is Noelle, while dad Cruise was over in London on Saturday at Taylor Swift’s Wembley Eras tour date.

Tom Cruise’s marriage to Nicole Kidman lasted for 11 years, and the couple, who had went through an ectopic pregnancy and a miscarriage during their relationship, adopted two children together.

Their eldest child is daughter Isabella, 31. She married her British partner Max Parker in a Scientology ceremony in 2015.

She lives in South London, works as an artist, and goes by the name Bella. She also appears to have stayed a part of the Church of Scientology along with her dad, and speaking out on speculation about a rift with her mum who is not a Scientologist, she shrugged it off.

She told MailOnline in 2016: “Of course [we talk], they’re my parents. Anyone who says otherwise is full of s***.”

Both Isabella and Connor were reported to have stayed with Cruise after their parents’ split, living with him and his third wife Holmes as well as half-sibling Suri.

Isabella’s brother Connor was adopted by Cruise and Kidman in 1995 and both have stayed close to their dad.

Connor, 29, was raised in the Church of Scientology like his sister, and although they aren’t regularly seen at celebrity events with either of their famous parents, in December 2023 Connor and Isabella were pictured with Cruise at an NHL hockey game meeting the players.

He is said to be “extremely loyal” to his superstar dad and often accompanies him on film promotion tours. Connor has worked as a DJ and completed some acting work, but mostly lives a quiet life in a Scientology community in Florida. He often posts on social media about his love of deep sea fishing, golfing and barbecuing.

While Kidman went on to marry Keith Urban in 2006, who she now has two more daughters Sunday Rose and Faith with, Cruise married again after meeting Katie Holmes.

He and Holmes welcomed their daughter Suri in 2006, but after their split in 2012, Suri continued to live with her mum and did not stay in the Church of Scientology like her siblings.

Suri and Holmes live in New York City and the teen is expected to move to Pennsylvania for university later this year. In a since-deleted TikTok post from one of her classmates showing which college they were all off to, Suri could be seen wearing a sweatshirt for Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

After their divorce, Holmes was granted sole custody of Suri, and it has been reported that she has spent little time with Cruise since her parents split when she was six.
