Liam Payne, famous boybander, was found dead in Argentina after a fall from this 3rd floor hotel room. Authorities are unsure if the action was a suicide at this time
One Direction’s Liam Payne was found dead in Argentina just 45 minutes after he made Snapchat post.
The star was vacationing in Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo and local reports indicate that he fell off the third floor of his hotel. It is unknown at this time if the death was a suicide or unintentional as authorities continue to investigate.
Witnesses told TMZ that Liam was acting erratically before his death, smashing his laptop. He reportedly was carried from his hotel back to his room. Photos were obtained by the publication of his body against a wooden deck where his identifiable tattoos were clearly shown.
Recently, Liam faced extreme criticism and backlash after his ex-girlfriend, Maya Henry, began to open up with allegations of mistreatment in their relationship. Lawyers told the DailyMail that Maya was preparing to take legal action against him. They said: “Maya Henry issued a cease and desist last week to Liam Payne following the emergence of new and concerning information. She has retained attorneys Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna to represent her. At this time, that is her only comment on the matter.”

On TikTok, Maya said: “Ever since we broke up he messages me, will blow up my phone, not only from his phone, it’s always from different phone numbers too, so I never know where it’s gonna come from. He’ll create new iCloud accounts to message me – it’s always a new damn iCloud account. Every time I see one pop up on my phone I’m like, ‘here we f—ing go again.’
“Also, he will email me… not only me, but he’ll blow up my mom’s phone. Is this normal behavior to you?”
She also accused Liam of preying on One Direction fans, highlighting his incessant usage of monetized Snapchat posts “because they’re loyal to him.” Moreover, in a TikTok comment, Maya claimed that he spoke poorly of his bandmates behind their backs, despite showing public support and attending their performances.
After Maya began to open up about her experience, another ex-girlfriend of the singer made a vague post. Danielle Peazer, who was with Liam during the One Direction days, wrote on a TikTok video: “Me and my truth we sit in silence.”
The musician previously opened up about his struggles with alcohol abuse. In an YouTube video, he previously said: “I just kind of feel like I’ve got more of a grip on life and everything that was getting away from me, I just feel like I’ve got more of a handle on it. I just needed to take a little bit of time out for myself actually because I kind of became somebody who I didn’t really recognize anymore. And I’m sure you guys didn’t either. I was in bad shape up until that point and I was really happy to kind of put a stopper to life and work.”
Liam was one of five members of the United Kingdom’s pop boyband One Direction alongside Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Harry Styles. The band was formed on the popular reality television show X-Factor in 2010. In 2015, Zayn left the band in a dramatic split with the full band going on a “hiatus” and in 2016.

After the band’s apparent end, Liam released his first single, Strip That Down, which was met with a mixed reaction. This track was later followed up with an array of additional songs before his first album, LP1, was released in 2019.
He was the father to Bear Payne, who he shares with Cheryl Fernandez, previously known as Cheryl Cole. The pair first met when Liam auditioned for the X-Factor where Cheryl was a judge.
