Tom Cruise’s daughter Suri was spotted in New York City the day before her father’s stunt at the Olympics Closing Ceremony.
Suri Cruise, who now goes by Suri Noelle, was spotted on Saturday walking the city streets as she gears up to go to college at Carnegie Mellon University later this year. She wore a comfy outfit made up of a blue tank top, black cutoff sweatpants and white sneakers with specks of orange and blue in them.
She had a tote bag slung over one shoulder as she made her way through the city that never sleeps and down onto the subway platform. Her long brown hair was parted in the middle and fell down behind her shoulders.

The 18-year-old is the spitting image of her mother, Katie Holmes. She recently changed her name to honor her mother, going by “Suri Noelle” at her high school graduation ceremony. Noelle is her mom’s middle name.
Suri ditched the “Cruise” part of her name possibly because of her estrangement from her father, Tom Cruise. The two apparently don’t speak due to Tom being a part of the Church of Scientology, where members are encouraged to distance themselves from non-members.
An insider told the Daily Mail: “Suri does not know her father anymore and she has not spent time with him in a decade. She does not go to see his movies and he has no part in her life.”

Tom is reportedly financially responsible for her college bills, After Tom and Katie divorced in 2012, the Mission Impossible actor was ordered to pay $400,000 a year in child support until Suri turned 18 and be responsible for her schooling.
While Suri was seen in New York, Tom was across the pond in Paris gearing up for the closing ceremony of the Olympics. The actor performed a stunt at the event where he rappelled from the top of the Stade de France 115 feet above the ground.
Running through a sea of Olympians, high-fiving some, Tom then hopped on a motorcycle and zoomed off. The camera then cut to a prerecorded segment where Tom jumped out of a plane and landed on the Hollywood sign, helping signal the next Olympics being held in Los Angeles.
