The Voice coaches Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg

Tonight on “The Voice,” coaches Michael BubleSnoop DoggReba McEntire and Gwen Stefani sat for Part 4 of the Blind Auditions round of season 26. In the first three parts, the coaches competed 10 times for the same artist in “four chair turn” moments and tonight they only battled across the dais twice. In the first of the night, 25 year old Gabrielle Zabosky auditioned with “Mr. Know It All” in a highlight performance of the evening that likely became a lowlight for Snoop.

It wasn’t until the tail-end of Gabrielle’s performance that any of the coaches hit their button. It started with Reba, who in hitting her button also blocked Snoop, and then in very quick succession Snoop, Gwen and Michael all hit theirs as well. In that moment, Gabrielle broke her vocal with an endearing squeal, jumping up and down at the realization that she earned a spot on a team. Though he knew he’d be out of the running to bring Gabrielle to his team, Snoop couldn’t help but be pleased with Reba’s move. “I love it! I love it, Reba,” he said. “I love it!”

Snoop told Gabrielle that he understood the block because “they know I love music like what you do. So they naturally would block me because they knew you was gonna choose me.” It wasn’t even until then that Gabrielle realized all four coaches had turned for her. Snoop assured her that she had “three great coaches that can help you develop into the superstar that you want to be” and wished her luck in the competition.

Left with a decision to join one of those three teams, Gabrielle became the newest member of Gwen’s team. In her pitch to Gabrielle, Gwen called her a “diamond in the rough” and noted that she can help her with “trying to do too much” in order to get everything right to make something “really beautiful.”

Snoop hoped to earn his revenge when in the last audition of the night, the other four chair turn artist Shye sang “Superman (It’s Not Easy).” In his pitch, Snoop told Shye that he’d “love to be your coach, your mentor, and just all of whatever you need.” He stressed the importance of how life experience contributes to an ability to write and perform music. When it came time for Shye to choose a team, Snoop stretched his arms out, essentially begging her to join him, but instead of following his lead, Shye selected Team Michael.

By the end of Episode 4, Gabrielle, Shye and seven other artists earned a spot on a team. Team Snoop recruited Michael Alexandersson and Christina Eagle. Team Reba picked up Jaukeem Fortson and Kevin James Graham. Team Gwen added Sloane Simon and Gabrielle Zabosky. Team Buble brought in J.PaulJamison Puckett and Shye.
