Recently, Moriarty has been enjoying a well-deserved vacation and shared some stunning photos on Instagram, where she’s seen relaxing in a pink swimsuit in a cabana. As you can see from this Instagram post, Moriarty likes to swim. The Cleveland Clinic reports that swimming is a great workout. “We’re not saying that swimming is easy (far from it!), but swimming takes much less of a toll on your body than, say, running or riding a bike. That’s because exercising in water lessens the impact of your body weight on your joints.”

She Goes Outside

Moriarity is outside in both of her Instagram posts. This has a lot of benefits. UC Davis states, “Being outdoors can also have relaxing effects on our minds. Nature can provide a mental break by allowing us to temporarily escape the demands of everyday life. It can also boost your creativity and problem-solving abilities. For example, if you’re having a mental block writing a paper or can’t seem to solve a problem at work, step outside for a breath of fresh air. Take an easy walk around your neighborhood or office, and you just might find the answers you were looking for.”

She Has A Dog

According to these photos on Instagram, Moriarty has a dog. Harvard Health reports that this can have health benefits. “Dog owners have lower blood pressure and healthier cholesterol levels, and a lower risk of heart disease, than non-owners. There are also many psychological benefits to having a pooch around. Dog owners are less prone to bouts of loneliness, anxiety, and depression.”

She Speaks Out

Moriarty isn’t afraid to speak out about causes that are important to her. She posted these photos on Instagram supporting the 2023 SAG AFTRA strike. Moriarty talked about the importance of this in the caption.  “The objective is not financial abundance. The objective is fairness. Fairness that manifests in basic, unambiguously justified rights. This applies to any industry that treats its workers according to antiquated terms. But: when you threaten our individual and collective humanity, we show the f*ck up with unprecedented solidarity.”

She Wants To Feel Comfortable

Moriarty revealed in an interview with Karen Fukukara that she wants to make sure she’s comfortable on set. And that includes costumes. “Star Light’s original costume, which we call Starlight 1.0. And the other one, the jargon that we use internally on set is the one that is more revealing. We call Starlight 2.0. And I just like the original one because to me, whenever you’re in a costume, the second one that is objectifying and intentionally. So just me as a human being, inherently I’m automatically going to have a bias against it. And the original one is hers and it reflects to me her kind of true self. And so I like the original one more. There are pros and cons to both in terms of comfortability.”
