LeAnn Rimes joined the cast of The Voice in two different countries. While Rimes struggled in her first stint in Australia, she seems to have found her groove in the UK version of the show. This was proven when she jumped up and ran onto the stage to perform with one of the contestants.
However, one of the best moments was when the contestant poked some fun at Rimes, causing all the coaches to start laughing. Here is what happened on The Voice.

The Voice UK just premiered its new season this past week. Three are four coaches for the new season. Will.i.am returns as the one coach who has been there since the show’s inception in 2012. Tom Jones is also back. He has been in every season except the fifth.

There are also two new judges this season (three really). The first is LeAnn Rimes, who also worked The Voice Australia’s most recent season. The other coaches are a duo. Just like the American version had Day+Shay, this season of the UK version has Tom Fletcher & Danny Jones as a duo.
All eyes are on LeAnn Rimes, who didn’t seem comfortable in the Australia version of the show. However, she was very much excited about the first episode of the UK version. She showed this during the performance of a song by a contestant named Joy Farrukh.
LeAnn said she would love to hear Farrukh sing something else and she asked if LeAnn would like to sing with her. When LeAnn agreed, will.i.am looked on in shock and then the two women began to sing Elton John’s “Your Song.”
LeAnn improvised early on by singing that she doesn’t know all the words, and Farrukh responded, “that’s okay,” also singing to the beat of the song. Then, when LeAnn sang the lyrics, “I don’t have much money,” Farrukh responded by saying, “Really?” This had will.i.am laughing. By the end, everyone gave them a standing ovation.
LeAnn Rimes Praises The Voice Contestant
LeAnn Rimes was so excited about it that she posted a clip on her own YouTube page. Rimes said she was jet-lagged after flying in from Australia and then went on to talk about the singer she performed with.
“you are pure joy, Farrukh, and i am SO honored that i got to share this special moment with you. i can’t even begin to tell you how much fun we had filming this series,” LeAnn wrote.
