It was reported late last year that there was to be a shake up to the judging panel for the next season of The Voice UK.

The Voice judge Anne-Marie has confirmed the birth of her first chiild in a sweet Instagram post. Taking to the social media site, she shared a series of images with her 9.2 million followers alongside the caption: “2024 is my favourite year already. We have a new member of our gang I know I need to tidy my wardrobe we’re having bbqs everyday that the sun is shining I’m so excited for the summer shows coming up, I’ve missed you all so much. I want cuddles please.”

The first image in the carousel showed the star looking casual in a long checked shirt dress. She sported new brunette locks and a short fringe, while kissing her baby who was bundled up and facing away from the camera.

This was the only reference she made to her new daughter, who is believed to be called Seven – with the monicker appearing in one image of a pink cake with Seven written across it in icing, alongside two love hearts.

The images also gave fans a proper glimpse at her new look. Alongside the messy wardrobe that she metioned, the singer took a selfie in the same shirt dress, ankle socks and trainers. Another photo showed her wrapped up in a big stripey jumper with her new hair hanging in loose waves around her face.

The singer had hinted at the child’s birth in a post six days ago when she took to Instagram to post publicity pictures for her tour with the caption: “Mummy’s back.”

The Unhealthy and Birthday singer doesn’t have much time off with her child, as she is due to hit the road in just a few weeks for her next run of tour dates, which begin in Manchester on June 9.

She is also due to take to the stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival on June 28. The tour doesn’t end until August 31 with a date in Switzerland.

She reminded fans about the upcoming dates with another image in her Instagram post listing off all her upcoming performances.

Anne-Marie won’t be the only member of The Voice UK family to welcome a bundle of joy this year.

Her former fellow judge Olly Murs and wife Amelia Tank announced they were expecting a baby in December, just five months after tying the knot in a romantic ceremony on Osea Island, Essex.

The couple confirmed the news with a sweet snap on Instagram, shared with Olly’s 4.6 million followers.

The Dance With Me Tonight singer could be seen happily pointing at Amelia’s growing baby bump as he held up a black-and-white ultrasound picture.
