Less than two months before the premiere of Season 26 of The Voice, the quartet of coaches teamed up for their first-ever performance together.

The new season of The Voice is scheduled to kick off September 23. Viewers will see the return of reigning champ, Reba McEntire, and one-time winner Gwen Stefani. New coaches, Michael Buble and Snoop Dogg will take their first spins in the iconic red chairs.

As in seasons past, the coaches came together to perform for the first time. In a new video released by The Voice, the four performed a rousing rendition of The Four Tops’ “Reach Out I’ll Be There.” The unique blend of musical styles made for a memorable performance. Snoop Dogg, who is primarily known for being a rapper, stole the spotlight as he offered a brief glimpse of his vocal abilities, but mostly kept to talking/rapping throughout.

News of the coaching lineup for Season 26 was announced in May.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, Snoop Dogg opened up about his new gig, saying, “Well, if you know anything about me, you know I love all forms of music. So this is a great opportunity for me to show that I really understand music, and to be a real Coach and to really give direction to some of these Artists that could be, you know, today’s next big thing.”

Snoop, 52, added that he has the utmost respect for Reba McEntire, calling her “the queen.”

“That’s the queen. I mean, I’m Snoop Dogg. I respect the queen. All hail the mighty queen!” he said.

Filming for the pre-recorded portion of Season 26 is complete. Michael Buble, who is the only coach from Season 26 returning for another season, shared last week that filming had already begun for Season 27. Buble will be joined by returning coach Adam Levine, who has three wins to his credit, one-time winner John Legend, and first-time coach Kelsea Ballerini. That season will air in the spring of 2025.
