The Voice season 19 alum and his wife, who tied the knot in February, welcomed twin girls Lennon James and Callie Catherine on Sunday, June 30, a rep for the couple confirms to PEOPLE.

“We are so grateful to have two healthy, beautiful little girls! I’m outnumbered now!” Flanigan says, sharing that the girls were born just one minute apart, at 9:05am and 9:06am.

The singer’s wife Kelsey adds that there’s a special reason why she’s extra excited to have twins.

“Twins run in my family, and I’m excited to continue the tradition! I can’t wait for this next chapter with Ian and the girls!” she tells PEOPLE.

The couple also shared a few exclusive photos with PEOPLE, posing together while Kelsey held their baby girls. Flanigan, whose new single “Rather Be Country” is out now, can be seen standing behind his wife, placing a hand on her shoulder as the new mom holds her daughters in her arms.

The musician also shared a photo of wife and their newborn daughters right after Kelsey gave birth, smiling together in their first photo as a family of four.

In March 2024, the girl dad spoke to PEOPLE about the couple’s small, intimate wedding ceremony held at the 4 Eagle Ranch in Beaver Creek, Colo., on Feb. 29. Flanigan told PEOPLE that the scenic venue is where he and his now-wife first met.

“We opted to go back to Beaver Creek and create the ultimate full-circle moment by exchanging our vows in the same place we met,” he said, adding that the couple’s wedding day was “nothing short of perfect.”

The pair carefully planned a ceremony filled with sentimental details that highlighted not only their love story but their respective family roots.

“It was important to us to create an intimate and highly personalized ceremony so many of the elements included had an underlying meaning,” he explained. “From bringing family artifacts such as Kelsey’s grandfather’s shearling blanket to a piece of my late mother’s wedding dress sewn into my jacket, there were nods to family and the ones who mean the most to us throughout the day.”
