Asher began his journey in The Voice by singing the cover of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” in the Blind Auditions.
He sang “On My Own” with his coach during the finale of the show and eventually won the title of The Voice season 25.

Asher HaVon’s mother’s name is Joanne Smith. Joanne has been Asher’s greatest supporter who has always encouraged him to sing.
Joanne raised Asher and his siblings when she got separated from Asher’s dad.
Asher has often expressed his love for his mom whether it is on the show, in his interviews, or through his social media posts.
On Mother’s Day in 2019, Asher shared a picture of his mom on Facebook and wished her mentioning her as his world.
Likewise, in January 2019, he celebrated his mom’s birthday and even shared a sweet message for her on Facebook.
Asher was seen kissing his mom in the birthday post where he wrote,

Joanne is a proud mom because of her son’s achievements. She was seen celebrating Asher’s victory with many in the rousing watch party when he won The Voice.
Asher HaVon’s Father
The name of Asher HaVon’s father is a mystery for now. Asher has revealed that he had not so good relationship with his dad in the past.
However, the year 2015 was a turning point in Asher’s life.
He got to sing in front of President Obama when he went to Selma to give a speech commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery.
It was when Asher got a chance to rekindle his relationship with his dad with whom he always had a complicated relationship.
His dad also survived a car accident a couple of years ago and of which their relationship grew even stronger.

Asher HaVon was raised with many siblings among which he has sisters who have already been married.
