Hollywood actor and producer Tom Cruise was recently spotted descending from his private jet at the Athens International Airport.

His mission to Greece remains a mystery as some Greek media speculate that after Athens he continued his journey to Thessaloniki to check out possible locations for his future movies in northern Greece.

The star of the highly successful Mission: Impossible series avoids the photographers and that’s why he chose to land at night at the airport of Athens. However, he didn’t manage to escape the lens of the paparazzi who managed to capture him outside his plane.

Tom Cruise has been spotted in Greece several times in the past. During the promotion of his latest film, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One he expressed his love for Greece and Greek culture.

The Hollywood actor was talking to the press at the London premiere of the latest Mission: Impossible movie when one of the reporters informed him that he was from Greece.

“How are you? Nice to meet you too. Thank you for being here,” Cruise politely replied before adding, “I love Greece. Great food, great people.”

When asked about the movie itself, Cruise explained “This is the biggest and most luxurious. It’s a huge, epic adventure that’s split into two parts.”

“The scope of the film is very wide. I make my films for the big screen only. This film is unprecedented,” the actor added.

Regarded as a Hollywood icon, he has received various accolades, including an Honorary Palme d’Or and three Golden Globe Awards, in addition to nominations for four Academy Awards.

He has been branded a heart-throb by fans throughout his long-spanning career in cinema – and has been the subject of many moviegoers’ desires for decades.

According to a recent report reportedly insists that Hollywood star Angelina Jolie is his ‘perfect match’ – according to insiders speaking to Heat World.

“Tom raves about Ange’s intellect and what a strong, impressive woman she is. He loves that she’s never really conformed in Hollywood,” the source said.

“Plus, they’re both such superstars, only a handful of people can truly understand the life they live. That in itself creates a bond.”

They also claimed that Angelina has “seemed more open to getting to know him socially, too.”

The insider added that Tom is understood to be taking it slow with the actress, who split from fellow A-lister Brad Pitt in 2019.
