Connor Cruise, who Tom shares with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman, joined his dad for a rare public outing on Friday as they were seen making their way out of a helicopter after landing in the UK. The outing comes after Tom’s daughter Suri Cruise decided to ditch her dad’s surname after years of estrangement. Tom opted for a casual outfit as he spent the day with Connor, wearing a light gray sweater as well as a pair of dark blue denim jeans. He added a pair of black aviator sunglasses to his look and carried his belongings around in a black overnight bag. He wore a pair of baggy gray pants and a black hoodie, completing his look with a baseball cap which read: “Pelican Golf Club”. Connor also opted for a pair of gray sneakers and carried a black and blue backpack on his shoulder. He also opted for a pair of dark sunglasses to protect himself from the sun. Tom adopted Connor and his sister Isabella during his marriage with Nicole Kidman. The pair tied the knot in 1990, but finalized their divorce in 2001. According to Hello! Magazine, Suri’s new title is simply Suri Noelle, which has a sweet tribute to her mom. Suri’s new name was spotted in the playbill of her school production of The Go-Go’s jukebox musical, Head Over Heels. The new name would see Suri taking on the middle name of her mom. Suri was also referred to by her new name as she graduated from the distinguished LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts located in New York City. A source revealed to Page Six that “she is showing praise for her mother by using her middle name,” and added that Suri aims to “start afresh at college” and strives for a unique identity.
