Suri, the daughter of actress Katie Holmes and actor Tom Cruise, has not had a relationship with her father since her parents split in 2012, and reportedly due to his ties to scientology, insiders say she isn’t close to her other siblings from Tom’s previous marriage

Suri Noelle (which she appears to go by now) has allegedly not been in contact with her half-siblings Isabella Kidman Cruise and Connor Cruise.

A source told the Daily Mail that the 18-year-old, who is the daughter of Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, has been estranged from her siblings from Tom’s previous marriage to Nicole Kidman. Suri reportedly has been distanced from her father since her parents split in 2012. Isabella (who also goes by Bella), 31, and Connor, 29, who were adopted during Tom’s marriage to Nicole Kidman. The pair married in 1990, adopted Bella in 1993, Connor in 1995. and divorced in 2001.

After the divorce, Bella and Connor went on to live with their father in LA and Nicole went back to Australia. But at the time, they both had joint custody. Per a source from PEOPLE in 2019, Bella and Connor “grew up in the church of Scientology” and “are completely dedicated scientologists just like Tom.”

According to an insider from the Daily Mail, the two children have not been in contact with Suri in a decade and they explained why.

“First and foremost is the church of Scientology. Suri’s father and brother do not associate with her because of their devotion to the church,” the insider told the outlet. “So why would she have a relationship with her siblings?”

The insider added that the eldest siblings have “some jealousy” towards Suri since she’s the 62-year-old’s biological child.

“They are grateful that they were adopted but having no relationship with their mom, her family, Suri and that entire circle has made them feel outcast,” the insider continued.

Although, the insider shared that hadn’t always been the situation and Connor used to be close to Suri: “Connor tried to have a relationship with Suri as they were once close, but their relationship is now non-existent. He doesn’t try anymore. Isabella has never been close with Suri.”

The Mission Impossible star and Katie divorced in 2012. Just as Suri hasn’t reportedly been seen or photoghraphed with Tom, neither has the 45-year-old actress. Katie filed for divorce for reportedly “irreconcilable differences.” There have been allegations it was due to Tom’s affiliation with Scientology.

Just last month, Suri graduated from high school on June 21. Her mother was there while Tom was seen attending Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in London that weekend. In Suri’s graduation ceremony program, she went by Suri Noelle instead of Suri Cruise.

A source from the Daily Mail said that when Suri turned 18 this April, she had no intention in being in contact with her father.

“‘He does not exist to Katie or Suri, and his daughter does not want to rely on him for anything. She feels that she has one parent and that is her mother,” they said.
