Travis Kelce may be in the midst of his love story with girlfriend Taylor Swift, but there’s one spot he won’t be taking her for date night.
On the Dec. 11 episode of his podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was asked by a caller where is the “absolute worst” place to take a woman on a date. “Bottom of the barrel, no way in hell you’re getting a second date if you take a girl there,” the caller added of his criteria.
“Maybe don’t take her to the strip club,” Travis, 35, said, laughing. “Although some strip clubs do have really good wings I have heard. Don’t know anything about it.”
The Grotesquerie star also said that you should consider your date’s interests and hobbies. “If she’s not into sports, don’t take her to a f—ing sports game,” he noted. “There’s nothing worse than trying to teach somebody about something they don’t want to be taught about.”

Luckily for Swift, 34, Travis shared with podcast subscribers that he’s only thought of good date ideas so far. “I can make anything shake,” he quipped.
The retired NFL star also revealed that compromise is key when it comes to romance. He says that his wife of six years, Kylie, 32, loves watching the holiday movie Love Actually, which would not be his top pick. “It’s part of being a considerate partner,” Jason, who will be watching and reviewing the rom com with Kylie on New Heights, conceded.
The episode, which dropped on Wednesday. Dec. 11., also touched on the end of Swift’s Eras Tour which concluded in Vancouver on Dec. 8.

“Shout out to Tay. The unbelievable Eras Tour has finally come to an end,” Travis said, adding that the concert was “insane,” and “pretty crazy.”
The football player also paid tribute to Swift’s crew during the episode. “Obviously it’s her music, her tour but that was a full production, it was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people,” he said.
But showing his loyalty to his lady he added with a laugh, “But mostly because of Taylor!”
