Kayla Nicole previously made it clear that she didn’t want to see the Chiefs make a third straight Super Bowl appearance.

That was before Kansas City punched its ticket to the big dance after defeating the Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship game on Sunday.

The influencer, who dated Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on and off from 2017-22, didn’t seem upset about Kansas City chasing a historic three-peat.

“Tough!” Kayla wrote over a Super Bowl 2025 graphic showing Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

“It will be a storybook ending either way on Feb 9th,” Kayla wrote, referring to Super Bowl 2025, in another post after the AFC Championship game. “And as a fan of the game, that’s really all you can ask for.”

Kayla also commended the Eagles on a “job well done” after she previously chastised their performance after a messy 28-22 victory over the Rams in the divisional round game last weekend.

“Eagles fans. Happy for you, real cute,” Kayla wrote on X at the time. “But that’s not gone cut it next weekend. I’m telling you right now.”

Nicole, a contestant on Fox’s “Special Forces,” re-shared that message and praised Hurts and Eagles running back Saquon Barkley for standout performances in Sunday’s NFC Championship win.

“7 rushing TDs,” Kayla wrote, referring to Philadelphia tying an NFL playoff record for rushing touchdowns. “Hurts 256 passing YDs Barkley 118 rushing YDs 55 pts, most in championship game history. Complete play elevation and domination from last week. Job. Well. DONE.”

During an installment of the “I Am Athlete Daily” podcast last week, Kayla said she was hoping for Bills quarterback Josh Allen to lead his team to the Super Bowl because she’s bored of the Chiefs’ domination.

“As much as I’d love to see Josh pull it off, I don’t know if that’s gonna happen… [It’s] something new,” Kayla said. “I’m bored.”

Some reminded her of her previous remarks after she praised the Eagles on X.

“Naw we heard what you said last week,” one person wrote.

“Last week you said the Chiefs in the Super Bowl would be boring. This week it’s a storybook ending? What changed?” another added.

Kayla and Kelce, 35, split quietly after dating on and off for five years.

She became close with Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes.

The ex-couple were part of the wedding party when Mahomes and Brittany tied the knot in Hawaii in March 2022.

Kelce publicly moved on with 14-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift, who celebrated with and kissed him on the field after the Chiefs punched their ticket to Super Bowl 2025.

The couple has been dating since the summer of 2023.
